Job Title: AI Engineer (Graduate)
Responsible to: Head of Data and Power Platform
Location: Hybrid - two days per week in the Nottingham office
Contract Type: Full-time permanent

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a graduate AI Engineer to join our Data and Power Platform team. The purpose of this role is to research, prototype and develop artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions. The AI Engineer will accelerate internal adoption, efficiency and innovation through AI-driven solutions.

We are looking for a recent graduate or early career graduate who is hungry to apply their knowledge and skills of AI and ML to real-world business challenges.

What You’ll Do

• Research, prototype and develop AI solutions, including agents and machine learning solutions
• Build and deploy AI solutions that improve how we work and how our customers succeed
• Drive adoption of AI tools and workflows across teams, supporting colleagues in integrating AI into their roles
• Collaborate with teams across the business to integrate AI into existing workflows
• Support the delivery of AI-powered services for customers - think chatbots, machine learning solutions, intelligent automation and predictive analytics
• Identify opportunities to introduce AI and ML to drive improved efficiency and enhanced customer experience
• Keep up with the latest AI trends and bring fresh ideas to the table.

What We’re Looking For

• A graduate in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science or other data-focussed degree with practical experience applying AI and ML
• Strong understanding of AI and ML concepts and how they apply in practice
• Comfortable coding in Python and other relevant languages
• Curious, creative, and ready to learn fast
• 1-2 years commercial experience is a bonus, but not essential
• Experience of Microsoft AI tools like Co-pilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry is a bonus, but not essential
