Job Title:                    Workshop Engineer
Location:                    Milton Keynes (Office based, 5 days per week)
Reporting to:             Workshop Manager 

Purpose:

To deliver machine set-up and configuration, asset management and inventory support for both clients and internal departments. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up new equipment for clients to specification, logging and actioning in CRM following established Service Desk procedures
  • Deliver, install and configure end-user equipment on client sites as required, Offer remote and on-site technical support to clients, addressing their queries and issues promptly.
  • Manage and maintain off-site workshop storage facility, following company procedure for receiving and shipping customer stock. Keep track of inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and ensure proper storage and handling of equipment.
  • Log and action all activity in within the CRM system following established Service Desk procedures
  • Conduct quality checks on all equipment before delivery to clients to ensure it meets company standards.
  • Maintain and update accurate client site documentation 
  • Support the Technical services team on any workshop related sections of projects. 
  • Maintain information security by complying with the company’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) and all relevant policies

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

Essential:

  • Demonstrable knowledge as a Service Desk Engineer
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server / Desktop Environments 
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Backup/DRaaS and related technologies
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills 

Desirable:

  • Basic knowledge of Networking technologies (TCP/IP, Firewall, Routing/Switching), Azure Active Directory & IaaS, InTune & Conditional Access Technologies and Mimecast email security
