Your Role, Your Impact

As a HR Coordinator at Air IT, you'll be the backbone of our HR operations, ensuring seamless support across all HR functions. From managing daily queries and supporting payroll to overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and leaver processes, your role is crucial in maintaining our HR systems and supporting managers across the business. You'll be the first point of contact for HR inquiries, ensuring that every colleague receives prompt and efficient assistance.

Location options: Within commutable distance to our West Midlands or Nottingham office locations

Hybrid working - minimum of 3 days working in the office (Monday to Friday)

What You’ll Do:

  • First Point of Contact: Handle daily HR queries, providing quick and effective support to colleagues.
  • Payroll Support: Assist with payroll administration, ensuring smooth operations alongside the Payroll Manager.
  • New Colleague Inductions: Lead the induction process, ensuring new hires feel welcome and well-prepared.
  • Contractual Paperwork: Manage all contractual documentation, including variations and pay reviews.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Partner with the Talent Team to ensure a flawless recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Leaver Process: Oversee the full leaver process, ensuring a seamless transition for departing employees.
  • Family Leave & Contract Variations: Manage processes related to family leave, contract changes, and more.
  • HR Meetings: Attend and contribute to HR meetings, supporting HRBPs with discussions and decisions.
  • Project Work: Provide essential support on ad hoc HR projects.
  • Company Benefits: Assist in administering and maintaining employee benefits.
  • HR Systems Maintenance: Keep our HR systems accurate and efficient.
  • 1st Line HR Support: Offer first-line support for managers, helping resolve HR queries and issues.
  • Absence Management: Support absence management cases, working closely with HRBPs to find solutions.

What You Bring:

  • Strong administrative and prioritisation skills are essential for this role, due to the variety of workload
  • Solid IT skills are required with experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • High attention to detail and experience is key
  • Previous experience in an HR team environment and payroll processes would be advantageous but not essential
