Job Title: Head of Data and Power Platform (AKA Head of Data, Head of Business Intelligence or Head of Power Platform) 

Functional Area: Operations 

Location: Group Reporting to: Chief Automation and AI Officer (CAO) 

Purpose: 

• Lead and develop the Data and Power Platform team at Air IT, including the internal data reporting platform built on Power BI and our customer practice. 
• Grow our customer practice by engaging with customers throughout the sales lifecycle and launching new services in areas such as AI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. 
• Implement best practices to ensure data models meet required standards, enabling colleagues to accurately monitor performance through a suite of reports. 
  Innovate and leverage the latest tools and technologies, enabling Air IT to differentiate and add value through emerging technologies like AI and ML, gaining insights from our wealth of data. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Provide accurate data and reporting for both the company and its customers. 
• Consult with stakeholders and customers, gathering data and translating reporting requirements into appropriate data/reporting solutions. 
• Provide accurate data and reporting for both the company and its customers. 
• Establish and maintain successful, collaborative customer relationships. 
• Provide hands-on leadership for a high-performing team to deliver best-in-class data services. 
• Manage and deliver data and reporting projects from initial discovery through to successful delivery and completion. 
• Innovate and evolve to ensure the latest technologies are embraced, keeping our internal data and reporting platform accurate and scalable. 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience: 

• Strong technical knowledge, including relational database experience and Microsoft SQL (TSQL) 
• Extensive experience in developing and maintaining Power BI reporting solutions and environments. 
• Proven experience in providing customer facing data consultancy from presales through to delivery. 
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. 
• UK based, full driving license 
• Certifications desirable in areas such as: Microsoft SQL server, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps,  Artificial Intelligence
